Resource Development Associate (PT 20-24 hrs per week)

The Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary is looking for a professional who is passionate about Jewish community life in the Raleigh-Cary area and understands how to engage people in it. This position requires someone who loves working with people and has the communication skills to engage them in Jewish philanthropy. A friendly, warm disposition, with a natural understanding of customer service, is a must.

Under the supervision the Resource Development Manager, the Resource Development  Associate is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive and strategic development plan designed to ensure the achievement of fundraising goals while maximizing the brand and importance of the Jewish Federation.

Specific responsibilities include donor solicitation and cultivation strategies, creative special events planning, donor communications, direct response communications, social media, marketing, and donor recognition. This position will also assist the Resource Development Manager and the CEO with integrating fundraising across all Federation programs and strategic goals and special fundraising needs.

Grant Writer (PT 20-25 hrs weekly)

The Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary is looking for a highly motivated and qualified individual with a variety of skill sets who want to join a team working to build a new model of 21st century and next generation Federation engagement. We are especially interested in candidates who are committed to excellence, forward-thinking, open-minded, willing to take risks, and model a positive attitude that inspires confidence.

The grant writer is responsible for all grants related deliverables, from tracking deadlines through to final submissions and grant compliance. This is a part-time 20-25 hrs per week position reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.
