This lecture will focus on Buber’s concept of faith as life-long process in which one faces the existential ambiguities of interpersonal relations and the anguished realities of modern Jewish life.
Paul Mendes-Flohr is a professor emeritus of modern Jewish thought at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and professor emeritus of Jewish intellectual history at the University of Chicago.
