A book reading with Sula Miller, author of “Welcome to…The Widows Club.”
Sula Miller joins us for a book reading of her latest short novel, “Welcome to… The Widows Club” followed by a book signing and group social featuring light snacks.
About the book: “Inspired by the author’s beloved, late mother-in-law, who became widowed after 55 years of marriage, and her many friends who opened their doors and hearts to give their true account of widowhood, Sula weaves an intriguing tale offering a rare look behind the gates of a South Florida senior community - where there's a whole new set of rules for widows.”
Sula’s first book, Memory Hit, is a romantic science fiction and her poetry has been included in compilations by Nobel House and The Int’l Library of Poetry. Sula has also exhibited her fine art photography in dozens of galleries across the country, and her documentary work has aired on the Sundance Channel and PBS stations nationwide. Through these works, Sula seeks to share the beauty of nature and explore the nature of human experience.
