The JCC & JFRC Women’s Philanthropy in collaboration with CenterStage Theatre in Rochester, NY present, “Gloria, A Life.”
GLORIA: A LIFE
Presented Online: October 10-25, 2020
A New Play by Emily Mann Directed by Lindsay Warren Baker
Presented by CenterStage Theatre, a program of the Louis S. Wolk Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester
Gloria Steinem first raised her voice five decades ago as the co-founder of Ms. Magazine and with her highly publicized undercover reporting as a Playboy Bunny. How a determined writer, championing equality for all, became the face of the Women’s Movement and the story of her contemporaries is now an inspiring new play that transcends traditional theatre.
Each performance will be presented live online, followed by an interactive talk-back that invites audience members to add their own stories to the conversation.
Some of the proceeds from the October 24th presentation will benefit the Raleigh-Cary JCC and JFRC Women’s Philanthropy.
Let’s join together for this great opportunity!
