POSTPONED: Jewish Life at Duke University Celebration: 20 Years at the Freeman Center

  • The Freeman Center for Jewish Life 1415 Faber Street Durham, NC, 27708 United States (map)

Message from the Assistant Director of External Relations at Jewish Life at Duke:

Due to Duke's shift to social distance practices for the remainder of the spring term to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In regard to upcoming events, all Duke-sponsored events with expected attendance of 50+ guests between now and April 20 will be postponed, cancelled, or virtualized.

For the sake of the health and safety of our community, on- and off-campus, we will be postponing the 20th Anniversary of the Freeman Center events originally scheduled for March 27 and March 28, 2020. This includes Friday's Open House, Shabbat service, and Shabbat dinner, Saturday's Freeman at 20 program and luncheon, as well as our regional Freeman Center Shabbat Around the Country dinners.

We plan to reschedule this commemoration for another time so that we can celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Freeman Center and mark this important milestone together! We will follow up regarding the newly scheduled date once we have more information.
