Community Policing in the Time of Polarization and Antisemitism

Voice4Israel will be interviewing Dr. Robert Friedmann, an Israeli and founder of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange (GILEE) at Georgia State University’s School of Policy Studies. Last month GILEE was  awarded the Carl V. Patton President’s Award as an outstanding program at Georgia State University. GILEE has brought hundreds of law enforcement professionals to Israel as part of its educational exchange programs. Our   highly regarded Police Chiefs of Durham, Raleigh and Fayetteville have attested to the great benefits they received from their participation in GILEE police leadership training.

Dr. Friedmann is an authority on community policing and counterterrorism. He is also passionately committed to addressing the challenges of both antisemitism and anti-Zionism. He is a member of the executive committee of     The International Counter-Terrorism Academic Community and, most recently, was appointed to the President’s Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Justice as a subject matter expert in the homeland security group.

Dr. Friedmann will be interviewed by Dr. Robert Gutman, co-chair of Voice4Israel.
