The Triangle Jewish Chorale presents "Common Texts, Many Melodies"
At our Spring concert, the Triangle Jewish Chorale will present music from the Jewish liturgical traditions across the centuries. The textual themes of psalms and hymns have been set to diverse melodies and in a range of styles, from the Italian Baroque of Salamone Rossi to the contemporary music of Leonard Cohen, amplifying their meaning with the beauty of music. Adding a delightful instrumental touch will be the Cocktail Flute Choir of Chapel Hill (Alma Coefman, conductor).
