Program Description: In Yin Yoga, we hold poses (almost entirely sitting/laying on the mat, not standing) in stillness for longer periods of time, to allow for a slow, deep, but safe stretch. In Yin, we find and meet our edge of resistance but don’t try to push past it. This makes it a great style whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for a while, and has value as both a solo practice, or as part of a more active yoga/general exercise program.
You can register for each class individually or sign up for each month. Class will be held in the Sunroom on the David R. Kahn Community Campus.
