Program Description: Join us for a meaningful and relaxed celebration of Shabbat on March 8th in the way that best suits you! Shabbat Across Greater Raleigh is a call to families to come together with others and honor Shabbat in their own style. From traditional dinners to celebrating it in your own style from a pizza dinner, picnic, or even a dinner in a restaurant.
Last year, more than 200 people from 75 households participated, and this year we are aiming to increase those numbers by offering three ways to join in; you will need to choose one of the ticket levels below and click the link to register:
Option 1: As a HOST we will provide you with a Shabbat Guide. You invite your own friends and family to celebrate in your home.
Option 2: As a HOST we will provide you with a Shabbat Guide. Besides your own friends and family, you would be willing to host people in community looking for a home to celebrate Shabbat that have contacted the JCC. Please let us know the number of people we can send you to host.
Option 3: As a GUEST we will connect you to a host that has signed up invite people looking for a home for Shabbat dinner. Please let us know the number of people in your family that will be going to a home.
All we ask of HOSTS and GUESTS is to snap a photo of your Shabbat group and share it on our Facebook page or via email to leslie.needham@shalomraleigh.org, so we can create a community montage of this joyous celebration.
