Volunteer Sign-Up: October 7 Commemoration Setup

We are seeking volunteers to help set up for our October 7 Commemoration event! Whether you're part of a Brotherhood, Sisterhood, community group, or an individual wanting to lend a hand, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Date: Sunday, October 6, 2024 (Weather permitting; if needed, some tasks will be completed on Monday, October 7)

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Location: In front of the large pavilion on the David R. Kahn Community Campus, 12804 Norwood Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613

Volunteer Opportunities:

  1. Thread Flags on Sticks (Seated Task)

    • 25 positions available

    • Ideal for those who prefer or need to sit while volunteering.

  2. Hammer Stakes into the Ground & Place Flags

    • 25 positions available

    • Requires light physical labor (hammering stakes and placing flags in the ground).

  3. Arrange Chairs

    • 15 positions available

    • Help set up chairs for attendees.
