Program Description: Get excited, ladies, Fall is here! Our next Women's Philanthropy hike is at the historic Yates Mill Park. ~3.5 mile Easy/Moderate hike.
Please bring nutrient-dense breakfast cereals (ex. oatmeal) or cereal bars to donate to the JFS food pantry.
Please don’t bring your dogs on this particular hike because they are not allowed along the trails.

Join us as we open the new month with community and uplifting conversation to get your heart and imagination going and welcome the next few weeks. Inclusive and accessible, dress for the weather and bring a chair!
This month we welcome Cheshvan also known as Marcheshvan. Join us as we explore why it is known as the "bitter month" and the concepts of how darkness is needed for growth.

Women's Philanthropy: A Night at the Ballet
Program Description: Women’s Philanthropy invites you to the dress rehearsal for Carolina Ballet's performance of Frankenstein.
This hauntingly theatrical and seductively beautiful interpretation of Mary Shelley’s story is true to the original novel in that the Creature longs to be loved by his creator, Victor Frankenstein. Instead, he is found repulsive by those who see his shocking appearance. What unfolds next is for the audience to find out!
In addition to watching the dress rehearsal performance, you will get to meet Zalman Raffael, the Artistic Director/CEO of Carolina Ballet!

Join us for a fun, engaging, program on improving your emotional energy and well-being in 2022! Dr. Debbie Granick will present on Three Concepts to Restore Mental Health....Even During a Pandemic. There will be lots of opportunities for conversation in small groups (nothing too private, we promise!) and you will leave the event with some great ideas to feel motivated and on track.
About the Speaker: While you may know her as the volunteer chair of Women's Philanthropy, Dr. Debbie Granick is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a doctorally-prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with an additional Masters in Public Health. Debbie has worked in the mental health field for twenty-five years, serving youth and adults and specifically enjoying her work with women and girls. She utilizes a holistic, genuine, “straight-shooting” approach, and throws in a little humor, which will make this a program you don't want to miss.

Join women for pickleball open play on Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Sports Pavilion on the David R Kahn Campus.
It’s FREE and FLEXIBLE. Just come anytime, and stay as long as you like.
Open to all ages and all levels, players will rotate in for each new game giving everyone the opportunity to connect, play and have fun.
The JCC has limited equipment for use, so it is recommended each participant bring their own paddle.
