COVID-19 Policy Update for January 10, 2022
The health and well-being of our members, program participants, clients, volunteers and staff is our top priority. With the recent spike in COVID cases due to the Omicron variant, the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary has updated its COVID-19 policy to the following:
No visitor may enter any Federation facility if diagnosed with COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms.
If recently exposed to COVID-19, we ask that visitors follow current CDC guidelines for isolation and quarantine before entering a Federation facility again.
Visitors coming into any Federation facility will sign in when entering the facility to ensure we have proper records if a need for contact tracing arises.
All staff and visitors that enter the Creedmoor Road offices or the Kahn Campus will be required to wear a surgical-grade mask that will be provided by the Federation. Cloth masks will not be allowed. If you prefer to wear a mask of your own that is a higher grade, for example an N-95, that is also acceptable.
At indoor locations, social distancing of at least 3 feet is required in addition to surgical-grade masks.
At outdoor settings, face coverings are required when social distancing of at least 6 feet cannot be maintained.
All in-person programs will be pivoting to virtual until February 15.
Programs and services that serve unvaccinated children or high-risk populations may have different protocols that will be communicated to participants. These programs include Camp JCC, J-Rays swim team, youth athletics/enrichment programs, and some JFS services/programs and volunteer opportunities.
We will continue to monitor the situation and make updates as conditions change. Thank you for your continued partnership as we strive to keep our community safe and healthy.
