Now Accepting Applications for 2024 Board of Trustees

The Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh is seeking leaders to join our Board of Trustees who can guide and grow our efforts to welcome, engage, and enhance Jewish life across our community.

Board members engage in goal setting, strategic planning, fundraising and development, program support, and crisis management. The Board ensures that we follow our mission to serve the needs of our community, and act as responsible stewards of community resources.

Ideal board members embody the following traits:

  • Belief in the mission and goals of the Jewish Federation of Greater Raleigh

  • Leadership experience in their profession, non-profits, and/or Jewish or other community organizations

  • Ability to actively participate in board activities and make the Federation a high priority in their lives

  • Willingness to serve as an ambassador for the Federation in the community

  • Enjoy bringing people together, and connecting peers to each other and to our mission
