The Jewish Federation is seeking leaders who can help us to grow our efforts to welcome, engage, and empower Jewish life in Greater Raleigh.
Now is your chance to step up as one of those leaders by joining the Board of Trustees for 2021-22! Board members are responsible for monitoring the organization’s current health and determining its future, engaging in goal setting, strategic planning, fundraising and development, program support, and crisis management. The Board ensures that we continue to follow our mission, serve the needs of all members of our community, and act as responsible stewards of community resources.
What does an ideal board member look like? They have . . .
Belief in the mission and goals of the Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary
Leadership experience in their profession, non-profits, and/or Jewish community organizations
Ability to actively participate in board activities and make the Federation a high priority in their lives
Willingness to serve as an ambassador for the Federation in the community
Relationship-building skills and enjoy bringing people together, connecting peers to each other and to our mission
